Sister - Happy Birthday, Mom!

You're joking.
Your mom was on vacation
When she gave birth to you, huh?
And I'll reply, but these blue eyes,
I got them
only from you."
Happy birthday, Mama.
My sweet little mama.
Thank you not just for raising me
And waiting all those years,
But for pouring into me drop by drop
All that I am.
Where others gave up and fell apart,
Your hands only gripped tighter.
You can drive a nail,
And you can heal a broken heart,
And turn this house
Into the coziest home on Earth.
To stand when you have no strength left,
To forgive, to love again,
and laugh even when
You feel like crying out in pain.
Thank you for teaching
Me to live with meaning every day.
Happy birthday, Mama.
My sweet little mama.
Thank you not just for raising me
And waiting all those years,
But for pouring into me drop by drop
All that I am.
Today you're sixty-two, but inside
You're still so young and full of light.
And like a living dream,
I sing your praises to the sky.
Let the years play their games.
Let silver touch your hair.
I want you to see the whole
Wide world out there.
I want your children to keep
Bringing you joy every day.
I want you to have strength to cherish
Every single day.
And may your health
Always stay kind to you.
I love you.
I love you.
Happy birthday, my dearest one.
And I will keep coming
Back to our old house
And become your little girl
Once again,
safe in your arms.
Happy birthday, Mama.
My sweet little mama.
Thank you not just for raising me
And waiting all those years,
But for pouring into me drop by drop
all
That I am.
